Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, PA, is variously referred to as the City of Three Rivers; the City of Bridges (446 of them, to be exact); and, perhaps most commonly, the Steel City. Its downtown sits at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela ("Mon") Rivers, which together form the Ohio River.
Things are pretty good here. The cost of living is good. The food is, really, quite good (excellent, actually). Medicine, academic institutions, the arts--all outstanding for a city of its size (and even some quite a bit larger). So much natural beauty! The one drawback? I won't say it expressly here, but it involves a common form of movement, and it takes some serious focus and geometric proaction to manage.
Right now, there are just three albums, but I think you'll like them. And, especially for the Allegheny Valley, there are quite a few different locations and vantage points along the river that I've gotten over the last couple of years. I hope to expand on these over time.
