Cincinnati: 2024 (mostly)

The 2024 collection includes a series of albums and one video. The albums include Miami University of Ohio and the city of Oxford; Gaslight Clifton (probably my favorite neighborhood in the city); the University of Cincinnati ("UC") and the surrounding Clifton Heights neighborhood; and some views of Downtown Cincinnati from multiple vantage points in the West Side and Northern Kentucky. There's also a video of how Cincinnati-style chili is made-to-order in the traditional "parlor style."

What puts Cincy "on the map"? Notably, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, recently earning the top spot among all US pediatric hospitals in US News and World Report's annual list. The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. UC and its growth over the last decade-and-a-half. The Cincinnati Art Museum. Historically, the Cincinnati Reds dynasties of the 1970s. For foodies near and far, Jungle Jim's International Market. And so much more.

This is my home city, and I adore it. It's my beacon, my bedrock, a source of comfort and assurance in the terrestrial sense. And though they scarcely approximate the experience in person, I hope these quaint albums might give you a sense of different aspects of my beautiful, inimitable Queen City.
